Please share a memory of Edward to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

WARRENSBURG:  Edward A. Bennett, also known to many as “Little Eddy”, 53 years young, passed away unexpectedly on March 21, 2024.

Eddy was born on February 19, 1971, the son of Mickey Bennett and the late Connie (Dingman) Frisbie.  He attended Warrensburg Central School.  Eddy was a tireless worker, a true man of many talents, working for several people, including Car Care, Jim Davis and Gary Baker.  Recently, Eddy started his own company, Ed Bennett Construction, of which he was proud.

When Eddy wasn’t working, which was a rare occurrence, he found immense pleasure spending time in nature, whether he was snowmobiling or off-road driving his 4-wheeler. Winding down his day of either work or play, Eddy relaxed with an ice-cold beer.  Eddy referred to himself as the “mayor” of Warrensburg because he was widely recognized throughout the town and its surroundings.  His loyal canine companion, Baby Girl, held a special place in Eddy's heart, their bond steeped in unwavering devotion. His granddaughter Isabella, his birthday twin and best friend, shared a unique and cherished bond that brought Eddy the most joy.

Besides his mother, Eddy is predeceased by his step father Vincent Frisbie and his beloved German Shephard, Tanker.

Those who remain to cherish the memories of Eddy include his son Corey (Gracie) Bennett and their children Isabella and Kameron; his beloved dog Baby Girl; father Mickey (Julie) Bennett; sisters Catrina Hopkins, Sandy Vanguilder and Kayla Bennett; brothers Mitchel Bennett and Anthony Bennett; aunt Marilyn (Bruce) Terrell; uncle Jim (Sherri) Davis; special nephew Brandon Hopkins; and dear friend Gary Baker.

Memorial donations can be made in Eddy’s name to SPCA of Upstate New York, 588 Queensbury Ave., Queensbury, NY 12804 or www.spcauny.org
