Obituary of Sherry D. Stockwell

WARRENSBURG:  Sherry D. Stockwell, 75, of Warrensburg, NY, unexpectedly passed away at her residence on January 5, 2024.

Sherry was born on February 10, 1948, in Glens Falls, NY, to the late Willard and Janice (Burt) Stockwell. She attended Warrensburg Central School. Sherry dedicated 12 years of her life working at Warrensburg McDonald’s, where she was widely liked. Her pride in her work was evident as she maintained the restaurant, ensuring it looked sparkling clean.

Sherry found joy in various activities, including sewing, solving word search puzzles, collecting western gear, and, above all, indulging in her love for shopping

In addition to her grandparents, Sherry is preceded in death by her grandparents Marshall F. and Alice Burt, as well as her uncle and aunt, Thorton (Velda) Diel.

Those left to cherish Sherry's memory include her beloved brother, Mark Stockwell of Warrensburg; niece, Michelle Stockwell of South Glens Falls; nephew, Richard Stockwell of Queensbury; and her four-legged companion, Gizzy the dog.
